Picking a gift for a vp of software engineering
A VP of Software Engineering is usually the person who has been in the trenches for years before getting pulled into meetings they didn't ask for. They carry the roadmap, the hiring plans, the outages that happen at 2 a.m., and the constant balancing act between what engineers need and what the business is asking for. Their days are long and mostly invisible to anyone outside the org. A gift that acknowledges the title, and maybe a bit of the wit that comes with it, tends to land well. A hoodie for the cold conference room or the long flight to a planning offsite, or a mug for the first coffee before the calendar fills up, both fit that life. Put their exact title on it, or add a line for their company or team. Suddenly it reads as theirs, not a generic job shirt. If you're buying for a whole leadership group, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name, so everyone gets the same joke in their own size.
VP Of Software Engineering gift questions
Will the full title fit on a shirt or mug?
Long titles can wrap to a second line. Type it in the text box and check the live preview to see how it sits before you order.
Can I add a company or team name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a company, team or year. Type it there and the preview will update.
What's a good gift for someone promoted into a VP role?
A mug or hoodie with the new title and the year they got the job is a good marker of the move, and it's something they can use every day.
