Gifts from Waban
Waban is a village in Newton, Massachusetts, a small place with a big sense of itself. People who grew up there, or who ended up there and stayed, tend to feel a real attachment to a neighborhood that's easy to overlook on a map. A Waban shirt tells the story of where they're from in a way a generic city tee never could. For someone who moved away, a Waban mug is a quiet reminder of home every morning. For a new parent who lives there, a baby onesie with the village name is a sweet first gift that marks where the little one's life began. Start with the word itself, then use the second line for a street, a school, or the year they moved in. That small detail is what makes the gift feel like theirs.
