Gifts from Waipahu
Waipahu is a town on the leeward side of Oahu, a plantation community that grew around the sugar mill and still feels like a place where people know each other. Many of the people who call it home have deep family roots there, and they wear their hometown the way others wear a school or a team. A Waipahu shirt is how they say where they're from when they're on the mainland, at a reunion, or just running errands with the windows down. It's also a good fit for the person who moved away for work or school and misses the sunshine and the local pride. Add a second line with a street, a school or the year they graduated and it becomes a shirt that only someone from there would fully understand. For a family that's spread out, a matching set of Waipahu shirts or mugs turns a holiday visit into a photo everyone keeps.
