Gifts from Walla Walla
Walla Walla is a small city in southeast Washington, known for its wineries, its wheat-country roots and a downtown that locals are fiercely proud of. People who grew up there, or who moved away for school or work, often keep the name close. A Walla Walla shirt is a way to claim the place, whether it's for a friend who still lives in town, a cousin who moved to Seattle, or someone who has a favorite tasting room and wants everyone to know it. Because the name is distinctive, a design with Walla Walla on the front reads as a deliberate choice rather than a generic city tee. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a school class year or the street they grew up on, and it becomes theirs. For the one who misses home, a Walla Walla mug is an easy everyday reminder of where they're from.
