Gifts from Wampum
Wampum is a small town, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt or mug with the name is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, and it's a good fit for a homecoming, a family reunion or someone who left and still checks the local news. Because the place is small and specific, the details that matter most are personal: the year someone graduated from the local school, the road they lived on, the family name that's been there for generations. A design that carries one of those details reads as belonging to that person rather than to a place on a map. Shoppers buying for someone from a small town often find that a hoodie for cold mornings or a mug for the kitchen gets used more than a tee, since those are the things a hometown gift gets wrapped around in daily life.
