Gifts from Wartburg
Wartburg is a small place, and the people from there tend to hold on to it. Whether someone grew up in town, went to school at Wartburg College in Waverly, or simply has family roots there, a shirt with the name is a way of saying where they're from. Wartburg is also a name that a lot of people outside the area have never heard, so a Wartburg design often starts a conversation. That's a good thing for a gift: the person who receives it gets to explain their hometown or their alma mater to someone new. You can make the gift theirs by adding a second line for a graduation year, a class, or the street they grew up on. A hoodie works well for cold mornings, and a mug is the one they'll reach for every day. Because the name is shorter than many city names, the designs usually have room to breathe, so a second line is easy to fit.
Wartburg gift questions
Can I add a graduation year or a class to a Wartburg design?
Many designs have a second line. Open a design and type the year or class there, and the preview will show you how it looks before you order.
Is Wartburg a place name or a college name?
Wartburg is the name of a college in Waverly, Iowa, and it is also used as a place name in other contexts. If you're buying for someone connected to the college, adding their class year is a good way to make the design specific to them.
