Gifts from Watauga
Watauga is a county and a town in the mountains of northwestern North Carolina, home to Appalachian State University and the kind of cold, green, mountain-town life that people either grew up with or moved to on purpose. A Watauga shirt is how someone shows that, whether they're a student who fell in love with the ridges, a longtime local, or a former resident who now lives far away and misses the drive into the hills. Because the place name carries so much, a shirt that just says Watauga works on its own, but a second line can make it theirs: a graduation year for a student, a street or neighborhood for a local, or the year they moved. A hoodie suits a cool mountain morning, a mug suits the coffee they drink while looking at the view, and a tee for kids or a baby onesie lets a family dress its youngest members for the place they call home. If you're buying for someone who studied in town, the year they graduated is usually the detail that makes it feel like a memory rather than a souvenir.
Watauga gift questions

Is there a difference between the light and dark tees?
Light tees suit white and pale fabrics, while dark tees carry light-colored print on dark fabric. Choose the version that matches the color the recipient wears most.
Are there Watauga designs for kids and babies?
