Gifts from Watertown
Watertown is a city of just over thirty thousand people, and its residents tend to be proud of the small-city feel: the familiar main streets, the neighbors who know each other, the sense of being part of something local. A Watertown shirt is how someone shows that they belong there, whether they never left or moved away years ago. For the person who's lived in town a long time, a tee or hoodie with the city name is an easy everyday pick. For someone who's relocated, a mug with Watertown on it is a morning reminder of home. Add a second line for a neighborhood, a street, a graduation year or a school class, and the design stops being a generic city shirt and starts to feel like theirs. Watertown also has a long history as a community, so a shirt with the city name and founding year is a nice touch for a local history buff.
