Gifts from Waurika
Waurika is a small town in Jefferson County, Oklahoma, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them for life. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, a homecoming game, or the Thanksgiving table when the rest of the family is talking about where they live now. Small-town pride doesn't need a big-city skyline to show up on fabric; the name itself does the work. For someone who moved away, a Waurika mug on the counter is a daily hello from home. For a kid who still spends summers there, a kids tee lets them wear the name with pride. Add a year, a graduating class, or a street they grew up on in the second line, and the design becomes a piece of their own history rather than a generic town souvenir.
