Gifts from Waxahachie
Waxahachie is a small city south of Dallas in Ellis County, Texas, and people who grew up there tend to stay proud of it. A shirt with the city name is how a former resident wears their hometown on a trip out of state, or how a current one shows up for the high school football game, the county fair or a summer afternoon at the town square. The name itself is a conversation starter, and most people outside Texas will ask how to say it. A Waxahachie shirt works for the family who moved away and still tells people where they're from, and for the new resident who has just settled in and wants to belong. Add a second line with a graduating class, a street or a family name to make it personal. For someone who's far from home, a mug with the city name is the daily reminder of where they came from.
Waxahachie gift questions
How do you pronounce Waxahachie?
It's usually said wax-uh-HASH-ee. Locals say it without much thought, so if you're unsure, the shirt will still read the same whichever way someone says it.
Can I add a graduating class year or a school to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a year or a place. Type it in and the preview will show how it looks before you order.
Is Waxahachie a good gift for someone who moved away?
Often, yes. A shirt or mug with the hometown name is a simple way to show you remember where they're from, especially if you add a detail from their years there.
Can I order Waxahachie shirts for a whole group?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, so everyone gets a shirt with their own name on it.
What sizes do the waxahachie shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Waxahachie gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
