Gifts from West Kill
West Kill is a small hamlet in the Catskills of New York, tucked into the Greene County hills, where the people who live there tend to know every road and every neighbor by name. Someone who grew up near West Kill, or who has spent weekends hiking and fishing in those mountains, will feel a shirt with the name on it as a small piece of home. Because the place is quiet and rural, the gifts that land best are the everyday ones: a soft tee for chores or trail walks, a hoodie for cool mountain evenings, or a mug for the first coffee on a porch. Make it theirs by adding a second line with the road they live on, the year they moved there, or a nickname the family uses. If you're not sure what the hamlet means to them, ask one question first, because the detail you pick is what makes the gift personal.

A mug or hoodie works well, since they can use it every day and it reminds them of the mountains they left behind.
