Gifts from West Roxbury
West Roxbury is one of Boston's quieter neighborhoods, with tree-lined streets, backyards, and a village center where people know the person behind the counter. Someone from there often has a strong attachment to the neighborhood itself, not just to the city, so a shirt that says West Roxbury rather than Boston lands as a more personal gift. It works for people who grew up there and came back for the schools or the parks, and for those who moved away and still talk about the Roslindale line or the Arboretum on weekends. Local pride here tends to be understated, so a simple tee or a hoodie fits better than something loud. A mug is a good pick for the kitchen of someone who's been in the same house for decades. If you want it to feel specific, add the street, the high school class year, or the years they lived there in the second line.
