Gifts from West Rutland
West Rutland is a small town in Rutland County, Vermont, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Whether they stayed, moved to Burlington or ended up far away, a West Rutland shirt is how they say where they're from. It's the kind of place where the whole town shows up for the big local events, so a shirt that makes them feel part of that is a strong pick. Small towns also produce a lot of people who come back for holidays and reunions, and a tee or hoodie is an easy thing to wear on that first drive back. For someone who has moved away, a mug with the town name is a daily reminder of home. Add a year, like the year they graduated from the local school or the year they left, and it becomes something only they would really understand.
