Gifts from Whalan
Whalan is a name you don't see often, so the people who carry it are used to explaining where it comes from. Whalan is a place name in the Australian Capital Territory, a suburb of Canberra, and it's a name a family can wear with some pride when they've put down roots there or simply love the sound of it. Your gift lands best when it respects that: a shirt or mug that says Whalan in clean, bold type reads as a place they're claimed by, while a hoodie works well for someone who lives out in that part of the world and wants a little reminder every time it gets cold. Because the word is a city or town, you can make the gift personal by adding a second line for a street, a year they moved there, or a nickname their friends use. The product choices are wide, from light and dark tees to kids sizes, a baby onesie for a new arrival, and an 11 oz mug for the morning coffee that starts the day.
