Picking a gift for a wildlife biology internship
A wildlife biology intern is usually out before dawn and back after dark, counting nests, setting camera traps, or walking transects through wet grass with a clipboard in a plastic bag. It's a demanding season, often unpaid or barely paid, and the people doing it are running on field notes, cheap coffee and the hope that the job leads somewhere. A gift that acknowledges the internship itself lands well: a shirt they can wear on the drive to the site, a hoodie for the cold early mornings, or a mug for the trailer kitchen. Put the word internship on it, or add the year and the name of the field season, and it stops being a generic science shirt and becomes a record of what they did. Wildlife biology interns often wear field gear that can get muddy, so a dark shirt or hoodie holds up better on the job than a light one. For a friend who has just finished the internship and started applying for permanent work, a shirt with the year on it marks the milestone without making a fuss.
Wildlife Biology Internship gift questions
Can I add the name of the internship program or the field site?
Many designs have a second line. Type the program name, the site, or the season there, then check the preview to see how it fits.
Is a dark shirt better for field work?
Dark shirts tend to hide dirt and mud better than light ones, so many field workers prefer them. Both colors are available for the tee and the hoodie.
Can I order something for the whole internship cohort?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a group. Paste the list of names and choose a size for each person.
What sizes do the wildlife biology internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a wildlife biology internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
