Picking a gift for a winder
A winder is someone who works with coils, spools and windings, and if you know one, you know the job is about patience and a steady hand. They might wind wire for motors and transformers, thread onto bobbins, or yarn onto cones, and the work shows in how they notice small things other people miss. It's also a trade that rarely gets a shirt with its name on it, so a gift that says Winder in plain letters tends to get noticed on the floor and kept for years. Add their name or their shop's name on the second line and it reads as theirs, not something off a rack. A soft tee covers the daily commute, a hoodie handles a cold plant, and a mug that's clearly theirs stays on their bench. Winder is also a real place name, so if they're from a town called Winder, the same designs can carry a hometown joke too.
Winder gift questions
Can I put my own name or a shop name with Winder?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a name, a shop or a year. The preview updates as you type so you can check it before ordering.
What's the difference between a winder and a coil winder?
Winder is the general word, and coil winder is one common version of the job. If you want it specific, type Coil Winder or whatever they call themselves into the text box.
Can I use Winder for the town instead of the job?
Yes. The word is the same, so you can use it for a hometown shirt too. Add a second line like the state or a year to make clear which one you mean.
Are there Winder designs for kids?
Yes. There are kids tees in light and dark, and baby onesies too. They're a fun match for a parent or grandparent who works as a winder.
What sizes do the winder shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a winder gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
