Picking a gift for a x ray tech
X-ray techs spend their shifts moving between exam rooms, positioning patients, and standing behind a lead wall while the machine does its work. They're often the first people to catch a broken bone or a worrying shadow, and they get far less credit than the doctors who read the film. A gift that acknowledges the work lands well. A tee for the drive in before a early shift, a hoodie for the cold imaging suite, or a mug for the break room where their coffee keeps getting mixed up with everyone else's. Type in their credential, such as RT(R), or the modality they work in, like CT or mammography, so the shirt reflects their actual job. If you're shopping for a whole department, one design with each person's name on their own shirt works better than a card passed around the office. Radiologic Technologist Week falls in November, so that's a natural time to order.
X Ray Tech gift questions
Can I add RT(R) or another credential?
Yes. Type it into the text box after their name or on its own line, and the preview will show you how it sits before you order.
When is Radiologic Technologist Week?
It's celebrated in November, so order a few weeks ahead if you're buying for a whole department.
Can I put the imaging specialty on the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type CT, MRI, ultrasound or whatever they work in.
What if I'm buying for a new grad?
A tee or mug with their new title and graduation year is a nice way to mark the start of their career.
What sizes do the x ray tech shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a x ray tech gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
