Gifts for people into xiao
Xiao is a Chinese vertical bamboo flute, and the name is one of the few instrument words most people only know if they play one or grew up around someone who does. A player might be a student working through their first melodies, a busker on a subway platform, or a retired engineer who took up the xiao after decades of spreadsheets and finally has time for the breath-control practice it demands. What makes a gift land for someone like this is that it respects the instrument. A tee with the word xiao on the front reads as an identity, not a joke. Add a second line with their name, their ensemble or the year they started, and it becomes theirs. The mug suits the practice room, where tea and a warm-up session tend to go together, and the hoodie is for cold rehearsal halls and late-night sessions.
Xiao gift questions
Can I add a teacher's name or a group name to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the teacher's name, the ensemble or the year they started there. The preview updates so you can check the spacing first.
Is xiao a good gift for someone who just started learning?
It is, especially a tee or mug they can wear or use while they build up their practice. Pair it with a note about the first piece they hope to master.
Do you have designs for a whole ensemble?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one xiao design and paste the names of everyone in the group, and each person picks their own size.
What sizes do the xiao shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a xiao gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
