About this amenia gift
Amenia is a small town in Dutchess County, New York, in the Hudson Valley, and most people who love it know it by its farms, quiet roads and the people who stay through the winters. A shirt or mug with Amenia on it is for someone who grew up there, moved away for work or school, or simply made it home. Because it's a small place, the name itself carries the meaning, so the design can stay simple. Many designs have a second line, which you can use for a street, a year they lived there, or a class or family name. A hoodie suits the person who still wears their old hometown gear through cold months, and a mug suits the one who keeps a little piece of home on the kitchen shelf. For the kids who were born there, a kids tee or onesie with the town name is a way to mark where they started.
