About this annapolis gift
Annapolis is a small city with a lot of character: a working harbor on the Severn River, a state capitol that's been running since the 1700s, and a naval academy whose midshipmen fill the streets in their uniforms. People who live there tend to be proud of it, and people who've left often miss its brick sidewalks, crab feasts and sailboats in the creek. A shirt with the city name on it is an easy way to show that pride, whether it's for a local who never left or someone who moved away for work. Add a neighborhood, a school year, or a sailing club name in the second line and the shirt starts to belong to one particular person. For a Naval Academy graduate or a family with a midshipman, a hoodie or mug with the city name and year can carry more meaning than a generic souvenir.
