About this ashkum gift
Ashkum is a small village in Iroquois County, Illinois, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the village name is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, and it fits the kind of place where everybody seems to know somebody. Think about who you're buying for: someone who still gets the hometown news, someone who moved away for school or work, or a young kid whose first shirt should say where they live. Ashkum is small enough that the name alone draws a smile from anyone who knows it. Add a second line like a year they graduated or a street they grew up on, and the shirt becomes specific to their own story. The designs come in light and dark tees, hoodies, mugs and baby onesies, so you can match the piece to the person's everyday life.
