About this astor gift
Astor is the kind of word that makes someone stop and ask where it comes from. Astor Place in Manhattan is the obvious one, a busy square in the East Village where the subway runs under the streets and the East Village crowd spends its evenings. If your person lives in that part of the city, or grew up hearing the name on street signs and train announcements, a tee with Astor on it is a quiet nod to their own corner of the map. Because the word may point to a particular neighborhood or place, the best gifts add something specific beside it. A second line with a street, a building, or the year they moved in can turn a simple city tee into a personal keepsake. Think about what this person does on an ordinary day: a coffee walk, a commute, a favorite bar or park. That's the detail that makes the gift feel chosen.
