About this bar harbor gift
Bar Harbor is a small town on Mount Desert Island in Maine, and the people who love it tend to love it for the same reasons: the cold harbor, the granite coastline, and the summers when the town fills with visitors and then quiets down again in the fall. A gift for someone from Bar Harbor, or someone who spent summers there, works best when it recalls that rhythm. A tee with the town name is the easy pick for a visit or a summer job reunion. A hoodie is what they'll reach for on a chilly morning on the water, or at a fall football game back home. A mug suits the person who wakes up early to watch the fog lift off the bay. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year they worked there, a family name or a nickname the town knows them by. That small personal touch is what makes a Bar Harbor shirt feel like theirs rather than something from a gift shop rack.
