About this big spring gift
Big Spring is a small city in West Texas, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is how a former student, a longtime resident or a family that moved away shows where they're from, especially at a reunion, a homecoming or a summer visit back. Small towns make good gifts because the people who love them are usually proud of something specific: a high school team, a favorite hangout, a family that's been around for decades. You can add that detail to the second line of a design, such as a graduating class year or a street, so the shirt says something only a Big Spring person would recognize. For someone who moved away, a mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of home, and a hoodie is the thing they'll reach for when the weather turns cold somewhere else.
