About this black earth gift
Black Earth is a small village in Dane County, Wisconsin, and the people who call it home tend to mean it. A shirt with the village name is for the kid who grew up there and now lives two states away, the grandparent who still drives back for the holidays, or the neighbor who likes to remind everyone where they're from. Because the place is small, a Black Earth gift lands best when it feels like it came from someone who knows the town. Put the name on a tee or a hoodie they'll wear around, or on a mug that starts their morning with the village name. For a transplant who misses home, a Black Earth design is a quiet way of saying you remember where they came from. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a street, or a family name underneath to make it theirs.
