About this blauvelt gift
Blauvelt is a small place in Rockland County, New York, and its name tends to get a second look from anyone who isn't from there. The people who live in Blauvelt often have roots in the area that go back generations, and they're used to explaining where their town is. A shirt or mug with the town name is a conversation starter for the person who moved away, the one who grew up there and still drives back on weekends, or the family that has held on to the same street for decades. Since the name is distinctive, it reads as a clear marker of home rather than a generic souvenir. Add a second line with a street, a year, or a family name to make it theirs. For a graduation, a move, or a holiday visit home, a Blauvelt design says exactly where they're from.
