About this browning gift
Browning is a surname with a lot of branches, from families who've been in one county for generations to people who simply married into the name. A shirt with Browning across the chest is a quick way to say which branch you belong to, and it's a favorite for reunions, family trips and the kind of holiday photo where everyone ends up in the same color. Because Browning is also a town name in several places, the second line is where the story goes: a grandparent's first name, a reunion year, or the place the family started. For a newborn, a Browning onesie is a way of saying who they belong to before they can say anything themselves. If the family is spread across several states, a mug in the grandparents' kitchen works well, since that's where the relatives tend to end up anyway.
