About this butner gift
Butner is a small town in Granville County, North Carolina, and most people who live there have a long relationship with the place: families who've been around for generations, people who came for the work at the nearby state facilities, and folks who moved in for the quiet. A Butner shirt tends to get worn by someone who wants to say where they're from without a long explanation. It's a gift for the person who answers the question 'where are you from?' with a town name and a little pride. Since Butner is a small place, a shirt or mug with the name is a conversation starter for anyone who's ever had to explain where it is. Choose a dark tee for everyday wear, a hoodie for cool mornings, or an 11 oz mug for the kitchen table. Add a second line with a street, a year they moved there, or a family name if you want it to feel like theirs.
