About this capitol island gift
Capitol Island is a small place, and people who grew up there or have summer houses there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the island's name is how they claim it: for the ferry ride over, the beach in August, or the trip back after years away. Because it's small, a design with the island name and a second line for a street, a family, or the year the cottage was built can mean more than a souvenir tee. Summer residents often come back every season, so a mug or hoodie works well for the person who has been coming for decades. Kids who spend their summers there usually love a matching tee in their own size. If you're not sure how much the island means to them, a hoodie is a safe bet for cool evenings on the water, and a mug suits the porch first thing in the morning.
