About this charles city gift
Charles City is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they still live down the road or have moved to a bigger city. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, a county fair, a high school game or a visit back home. Because it's a small town, the people who know it best will notice the details, so keep the design simple and let the name do the work. A hoodie suits the cold months, a dark tee works for summer evenings, and a mug fits the person who misses their hometown every morning. For a kid born there or a family moving in, a baby onesie or kids tee is a warm way to start the connection. Shoppers buying for someone who left should consider the mug, since it's the item they'll see every day. If you know a school year, a family name or a street that matters to them, add it on the second line so the shirt feels like it came from someone who really knows the place.
