About this china gift
China is a country of enormous size and deep history, and a lot of people carry a connection to it that's personal: a grandparent who immigrated, a childhood in Shanghai or Chengdu, a job that takes them there for months at a time, or a love of the food, the language, or the calligraphy. A China shirt says something about where someone comes from or what they care about, and it works best when it reflects their actual story. If they grew up with a family member's homeland in their heart, a shirt or mug marks that connection in an everyday way. For someone who studies Mandarin or travels often, a hoodie they can wear through a long winter is a practical reminder of the place they keep returning to. Think about what the country means to them, then make it theirs by adding a second line that names a city, a dialect, a school year, or a family name.
