About this cotati gift
Cotati is a small city in Sonoma County, tucked between Petaluma and Rohnert Park, and most people who live there know each other by face. Someone who grew up in Cotati or moved there for the quiet and the easy drive to the coast usually carries that place with them in a very practical way: in the car, on the weekend walk, at the kitchen table. A shirt or mug with Cotati on it is how they say so without making a speech. Because it's a small town, the details that matter most are the personal ones, like the neighborhood they live in, the school they went to, or the year they moved in. Add one of those to the second line and the design stops being a generic town souvenir and becomes their own. For someone who has left and misses it, a Cotati mug on the morning coffee is a daily reminder of home.
