About this dassel gift
Dassel is a small town in Meeker County, Minnesota, and the people who grew up there tend to stay connected to it, whether they still live down the road or have moved to the Twin Cities or further. A shirt with the town name is a quick way to say where you're from, for a homecoming weekend, a summer trip back, or a family gathering where everyone wants to look like they belong together. Small towns also have their own kind of pride, and a Dassel hoodie or mug is the sort of thing that gets worn to the grocery store, the ballfield and the county fair. Since I'm not certain of every local detail, the best way to make it personal is to add what you know: a graduation year, a street, a family name, or the year the recipient left town. That turns a town name into their story.
