About this deposit gift
A deposit is the place where something is held safe, in a bank or along a riverbank where material settles over time. The word is most often attached to a town or city name on purpose, since many places around the world have used it for bankers, miners and merchants. A shirt that says Deposit with a town name underneath marks where someone lives, works or is from. For a person who grew up near one, or who has spent years building a life there, the gift says they're known in that place. A hoodie suits cold mornings and long commutes, a mug suits the kitchen table, and a tee works for a weekend in the old town square. Choose the line that matches their own sense of home, and the gift will feel earned rather than generic.
