About this dewittville gift
Dewittville is a small place, and people who come from a small place tend to hold on to it. A shirt with the town name is how someone who grew up there, or moved away and never quite stopped being from there, says so without a speech. The people most likely to buy one are the ones who want the name on something they'll wear to a reunion, a homecoming, a Friday night at the diner, or a visit back. Because a town this size doesn't show up in every souvenir rack, a Dewittville shirt tends to be a conversation starter, and the person wearing it will probably hear where they're from in every line. For a grandparent or a friend who lives far away now, a mug with the town on it is a small daily reminder of home. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a street, a school class year or the year they left, and make the piece specific to them.
