About this eielson afb gift
Eielson Air Force Base sits near Fairbanks, Alaska, and the people who serve there know what the cold does to a person. The base is a long way from most of the country, so a gift that says Eielson tells them someone remembers where they are stationed. Airmen, their spouses and the families who follow a posting all tend to hang on to base gear, and the Eielson name on a hoodie is worth more on a February morning than almost anything else in the closet. A mug works for the early shift, and a tee is good for summer, when the midnight sun makes everyone want to be outside. If the person you're shopping for is a parent, a kids tee or onesie with Eielson on it can be a quiet way of marking where the family started. Add a second line with their unit, rank or the year they arrived, and the shirt becomes their own.
