About this festus gift
Festus is a small city in Jefferson County, Missouri, and a shirt with its name on it usually goes to someone with a real tie to the place: a family that's lived there for generations, a graduate of the local high school, or someone who drives through on the way to somewhere else and wants to remember it. The best gifts for people from a small town are the ones that feel like they came from home. A tee for a weekend at the lake, a hoodie for the first cold morning back in the old neighborhood, a mug for the kitchen counter where they read the paper. You can make it theirs by adding a second line with a year they moved away, a street they grew up on, or the name of the school. Small-town pride tends to show up in the details, so the more specific the second line, the more the gift will mean.
