About this fort kent gift
Fort Kent is a small town at the northern tip of Maine, close enough to the Canadian border that many of its residents cross it for work, school or family. People who grew up there often carry that place with them long after they've moved to Portland, Florida or somewhere further away. A shirt that says Fort Kent is how they say where they're from without a long explanation. Since the town is small and tight-knit, a name on the front or a year underneath reads as a real piece of identity rather than a souvenir. For the person who left and still gets homesick in February, a mug or hoodie that says Fort Kent is the kind of reminder that actually gets used. Add a graduation year, a class or a family name on the second line and it becomes theirs.
