About this hardwood gift
Hardwood is the kind of word people carry around like a nickname, and it usually points at a place rather than a person: a hardwood floor, a hardwood court, a neighborhood or a school whose gym is famous for its floors. Whoever is getting this gift probably has a strong feeling about wood, polish, and the sound of sneakers on a freshly finished court. A shirt or hoodie with Hardwood on it fits someone who spends weekends on the court or someone who takes pride in a well-kept floor. The name works as a conversation starter, and it reads cleanly across chest on a tee or stitched on a hoodie. If you know a specific place the word refers to, add it on the second line, a gym name, a street or a year, and the gift becomes specific to them.
