About this hazel crest gift
Hazel Crest is a village on the south side of the Chicago area, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the village name is how someone who left years ago says where they're from, whether that's a high school reunion, a Chicago Bears game on TV, or a relative visiting from out of state. It's also a good fit for a longtime resident who has never needed a souvenir to prove they belong somewhere small and close-knit. Add a graduation year, a street or a family name on the second line and the shirt becomes theirs rather than a generic town tee. For the new arrival or the family member who moved away, a mug is the small daily reminder of home.
