About this herscher gift
Herscher is a small village in Kankakee County, Illinois, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they're still around the corner or have moved away. A shirt with Herscher on it is how a former resident waves the flag at a hometown event, a family reunion, or a visit back for the holidays. Small places don't get much merch, so a Herscher tee or hoodie feels like something you had to look for. For someone who moved away, a Herscher mug is a quiet morning reminder of where they started. Pair the city name with a graduation year, a family name or a street-level detail they'd recognize, and the design stops being a generic town shirt and becomes something only they'd get the joke about.
