About this holly pond gift
Holly Pond is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the town name is the kind of thing that gets worn to the high school reunion, to the diner back home, and on the drive in for the holidays. Because it's a small town, most of the people who'd recognize it are the ones who already know it, which makes this a gift with a built-in audience. For the former resident who moved away, a mug with the town on it is a quiet morning reminder of where they started. For a parent or grandparent who still lives close by, a hoodie with the town name is an easy way to say you're proud of where they're from. You can add a year underneath, like the year they graduated or the year they moved, to make it theirs.
