About this hornell gift
Hornell is a small city in Steuben County in western New York, and people who grew up there tend to stay proud of it wherever they end up. A Hornell shirt is a quick way to say where you're from without a long explanation, whether that's at a reunion, on a trip out of state, or on a visit home for the holidays. Because the town is small, a lot of people share a connection to it, so a shirt or mug can read as a little inside joke among people who know the place. If you're buying for someone who moved away, a Hornell mug on their kitchen counter is a steady reminder of home. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie for cold upstate winters tends to get the most wear. Add the year they graduated, their street, or the neighborhood they grew up in to make it theirs.
