About this humboldt gift
Humboldt is the kind of place name that means a lot to the people who grew up with it and very little to everyone else, which is exactly why a shirt with the word on it lands so well. Whether they're from the town itself or from the county around it, a Humboldt shirt tells the story of home without a single explanation. It works as a homecoming gift for someone who left for school or work and misses the place, and as a pride piece for someone who never left. A light tee is easy to throw on for a weekend at the farmers market or a long drive back up the highway, and a hoodie covers the cool evenings that come with that stretch of coast. Add a second line with the year they graduated or the neighborhood they grew up in, and the design stops being a souvenir and becomes theirs. The mug is a quiet favorite for the kitchen of someone who still calls it home.
