About this ickesburg gift
Ickesburg is a small place, and small-place people tend to hold on to where they're from. Whether someone grew up there, moved away for work, or just passes through on the way somewhere else, a shirt with the town name is a way of saying so out loud. Because the name is less familiar than Boston or Chicago, a gift like this lands as a little bit of recognition, the kind that says you know where they come from. Add a second line with the years they lived there, the zip code, or the street they grew up on, and the design stops being generic and becomes theirs. A hoodie suits the cold months and the drive back home, while a mug works on the kitchen table where town news gets passed around. Designs exist in tees, hoodies, kids sizes and mugs, so you can outfit the whole family in one place.
