About this itasca gift
Itasca is a village in DuPage County, Illinois, a small community of commuters, families and folks who grew up here and never left. A shirt with Itasca on it is how a longtime resident or a former local says where they're from, whether that's at a high school reunion, a youth sports game or a holiday visit home. Because the place is smaller than the big cities people usually put on merch, a local name carries real meaning. Add a street, a graduating class or a family name underneath and it becomes theirs. For someone who moved away, a mug with Itasca on it is a daily reminder of home. For a new resident, a hoodie for the first Illinois winter is a warm welcome. Many designs come in kids and baby sizes too, so a whole household can wear the same town name.
