About this jackson heights gift
Jackson Heights is a neighborhood in the borough of Queens in New York City, known for its wide range of cuisines and its large immigrant community. A shirt or mug with the neighborhood name is a way for someone who grew up there, or who calls it home now, to claim a specific corner of the city rather than just New York in general. Many people who live there are proud of the food on 37th Avenue, the mix of languages on the sidewalks, and the feel of a place that has been shaped by many families arriving over time. A Jackson Heights tee works for a student heading off to college, a New Yorker who moved away, or someone who simply loves the neighborhood. Add a second line such as a street, a year they moved in, or a favorite local spot, and the design becomes theirs. Pick the product that fits how they spend their days: a hoodie for the cold months, a mug for the morning commute, or a baby onesie for a new arrival in the family.
