About this ketchikan gift
Ketchikan is a small city in Southeast Alaska, known as the Salmon Capital of the World and for its rain. Many people there fish, work on the water, or are proud of the town's Tlingit and fishing heritage, and many more have left and carry Ketchikan with them. A Ketchikan shirt is a way to say where you're from, whether that's a fishing trip, a family visit or a move to somewhere much drier. Because the town is small and sits on an island, a gift with the name on it tends to land with someone who has a strong sense of home. A hoodie is the practical pick for a place where it rains often, and a mug works well for the person who misses the view from their kitchen window. You can add a second line with a neighborhood, a year or a boat name, and the preview will show you how it looks before you order.
