About this keyapaha gift
Keyapaha is a small place in Brown County, South Dakota, and that's the whole point of a gift like this. People who grew up in a town that small tend to carry it with them, whether they still live close by or have spent decades somewhere much bigger. A tee with the name on it is the easy way to say where you're from without a long explanation, and it tends to start the conversation that follows. Keyapaha is also the kind of word that looks like a puzzle to most people, so a shirt often draws questions, which the person wearing it will probably enjoy answering. For someone who moved away, an 11 oz mug with the name on it is a small daily reminder of home. Adding a year underneath, such as the year they graduated or the year they left, makes the gift feel like it was made for them specifically.
