About this kouts gift
Kouts is a small town in Porter County, Indiana, and the people who grew up there usually have a strong attachment to it. A Kouts shirt tends to get worn at the county fair, on trips back for family reunions, and by anyone who has to explain where they're from to people who've never heard of it. Small towns like this run on who you know and where you were raised, so a gift that just says the town name lands with more warmth than a generic souvenir. Many designs have a second line for a year, a graduating class, or a family name, and that's the detail that makes it theirs. For someone who left, a Kouts mug is the daily reminder of home. For someone who stayed, a hoodie is the everyday uniform of a place they never stopped being part of.
